KENNETH BURSLEM

Mr. Kenneth Burslem serves as ProMedia's Resident Advisor and Chief of Party in Kosovo. Mr. Burslem supervises both the administrative and programmatic aspects of the program. This has required the ability to solve myriad unconventional obstacles that the Kosovar environment presents. Mr. Burslem's 35-year career in reporting, management, production and training in challenging locales around the world has provided him with the unique experience necessary to advance ProMedia/Kosovo's objectives forward.

Before joining ProMedia/Kosovo, Mr. Burslem worked as a consultant for the Television Corporation of Singapore as it sought to improve the quality of its nightly English-language telecasts. He advised on all aspects of TV production, training staff to help the newsroom become one of the most advanced in Asia.

Mr. Burslem was instrumental in the creation of the news division of Maharajah Television in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He aided the newly formed commercial station in developing the resources needed to produce nightly news broadcasts in two languages. He also supervised on-air programming for the station as its Head of Television.
