Where are the balls found?
LEPENSKI VIR Lepenski Vir is the name of the great whirlpool in the middle of Djerdap and the nearby horseshoe-shaped shelf between the right bank of the Danube and the steep cliffs of the Korsho hill. A group of experts from Belgrade Archeological Institute who visited this spot for the first time in late summer 1960 noticed on the bank, in shallow cross-section, an indeterminate layer containing fragments of pottery belonging to the Starchevo group, the oldest culture of the Late Stone Age (Neolithic) in the Danube Basin.

BOSNIA Is is very rich with Stone Balls. They are placed all over country Bosnia and Herzegovina in Europe.
COSTA RICA Many was found in the delta of the Térraba River-Sierpe, Diquís, General River, town Palmar Sur, Palmar Norte, Estrella Valley, Coto Colorado River near Golfito, Isla del Cano. Since the time of their discovery in the 1940s, these objects have been prized as lawn ornaments. They were transported, primarily by rail, all over Costa Rica.

USA UTAH They are now found throughout the country. There are two balls on display to the public in the U.S. One is in the museum of the National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C. The other is in a courtyard near the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography, at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
