Provon - Provoni
The Illyrian language is spoken by Illyrian people, the ancient Illyrian tribes who live in the western and middle part of the Balkan peninsula, where exist at present Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia. It is recognized to be the continuation of the Illyrian language. Unfortunately, there are no written documents to prove this theory so the connection between the two languages is only indirectly supported through the names of people, kings and queens, places and historical studies. The first document in written Albanian dates from the 16th century when the book, Meshari by Gjon Buzuku, was published in 1555.
There is some documents in work of orthodox scholars Ciril and Metodije and some of Vuk Karadzic, but hidden somewhere...
